Coat of Many Colors (Dolly Parton) — аккорды на гитаре

G Back through the years I go wondering once again

Back to the seasons of C my youth

I G recall a box of rags someone gave us

And how my mamma put those rags C to use

There G were rags of many Colours and every piece was small

And I didn't have a coat and it D was way down in the fall

G Mamma sewed the rags together, C sewing every piece with love

She made G my coat of many Colours D that I was so G proud of.

As G she sewed she told the story from the bible she had read

About a coat of many Colours Joseph D wore and then she said

G Perhaps this coat will bring you C good luck and happiness

And I just G couldn't wait to wear it and mamma D blessed it with G a kiss

My C coat of many Colours that my G mamma made for me

C Made from only rags but G I wore it so D proudly

G Although we had no money, I C was rich as I could be

In G my coat of many D Colours my G mamma made for me

Key Change

A So with patches on my britches and holes in both my shoes

In my coat of many Colours, E I hurried off to school

Just A to find the others D laughing and making fun of me

In my A coat of many Colours E that A mamma made for me

A Well, I didn't understand it for I felt that I was rich

And I told them of the love my E mamma sewed in every stitch

I A told them all the story mamma D told me while she sewed

And how A my coat of many Colours

Was E worth more than all A their clothes.

They D didn't understand it and A I tried to make them see

D That one is only A poor only if they E choose to be

A It’s true, we had no money but I D was rich as I A could be

In my A coat of many Colours E that mamma D made for me

…..Made just A for me .
