Up from the Skies (Jimi Hendrix) — аккорды на гитаре

Artist Jimi Hendrix

Track Up From the Skies

Album Axis Bold As Love

Guitar is tuned down half a tone ie E=Eb A=Ab D=Db ect

Yep, get your wah wah pedal out, spark up and let it flow! This is a really atypical Hendrix tune, but is

one of my favourites. And it's quite simple too!

C9 I just G7 want to talk to you.

C9 I won't G7 uh, do you no harm,

C9 I just want G7 to know about

C9 your G7 different lives,

C9 on this G7 here people farm.

C9 I C#9 heard some of you G7 got your families,

C9 C#9 living in cages tall & G7 cold,

C9 And C#9 some just stay G7 there and dust away,

C9 past C#9 the age of old. G7

C9 is this C#9 true? G7

C9 Please C#9 let me talk to G7 you.

D9 I just D#9 wanna know about, A7

D9 the rooms D#9 behind your A7 minds,

D9 Do I see D#9 a vacuum there, A7

D9 or am I D#9 going blind? A7

D9 Or is it D#9 just remains A7 from vibrations

D9 and D#9 echoes long ago, A7

D9 Things D#9 like 'Love the A7 World'

D9 and 'Let D#9 your fancy A7 flow',

C9 Is this C#9 true? G7

C9 Please C#9 let me talk to G7 you.

C9 Let me C#9 talk to you. G7

C#5 I D5 have lived here before,

C#5 the C5 days of ice,

C#5 And D5 of course this is why

C#5 I'm C5 so concerned,

C#9 And D9 I come back to find

C#9 the C9 stars misplaced

C#9 and D9 the smell of a world

C#9 that C9 has burned.

(Solo)

The smell of a world that has burned.

Well, maybee, maybe it's just a change of

climate.

D7 I can dig it, I F7#9 can dig it baby, I just want to see.

C9 So where do I G7 purchase my ticket,

C9 I would just G7 like to have a ringside seat,

C9 G7

I want to know about the new Mother Earth,

C9 I want to hear G7 and see everything,

C9 I want to hear G7 and see everything,

C9 I want to hear G7 and see everything.

Aw, shucks,

If my daddy could see me now.

Generally speaking Jimi rocks his pedal at a constant pace, like you would if you were tapping your foot

with the music. The actual rhythm ebbs and flows and changes in a real jazzy way, so you'll need to listen

the track. The chord change from B9 to C9 (and likewise from C#9 to D9) in particular changes in form and timing and is sometimes even omitted. So basically as with all tunes by improvisationally inspired artists

best just to do your own thing!
