Lost the Plot (Newsboys) — аккорды на гитаре

Artists: Newsboys, lyrics by Steve Taylor and Peter Furler.

This is probably my favourite song on the entire TMTYL album;

It's got a lot of emotion and the lyrics are really powerful.

It's a pretty easy song to play and it was the first song I

ever really totally figured out. Here it is.

These chords, especially the C and D, sound more like the CD when

voiced like this. As for the Amaj7 and Gmaj7, it's close, but I'm

pretty sure these aren't the exact chords or voicing used.

Em When you come back D C again

Would you Em bring me something from D the C fridge?

Heard a Em rumour that the end D is C near

but I Em just got D comfortable C here.

D Sigh.

Amaj7 Let's be D blunt.

I'm a Amaj7 little D distracted.

Amaj7 What do you D want?

Em Headaches and G bad faith

are Em all that I've G got.

First I Em misplaced the G ending

then I C lost the Em plot.

Em Out among the D free-range C sheep

While the Em big birds sharped D their C claws.

For a Em time we stuck with the D C shepherd

but you Em wouldn't play D Santa C Claus.

D Sigh.

Amaj7 Let's be D blunt.

Amaj7 We're a little D distracted.

Amaj7 What do you D want?

Em Once we could G follow,

Em now we G cannot.

You would Em not fit our G image,

so we C lost the Em plot.

Em Once we could G hear you,

now our Em senses are G shot.

We've Em forgotten our G first love

We have C lost the Em plot.

C Lost the Em plot.

Interlude(?)

(basically just repeatedly: Amaj7 D Gmaj7 C)

(This next part may not be quite right, I just did it quickly)

G When I saw you for the Em first time

You were hanging with a G thief

And I knew my hands were Em dirty,

and I dropped my gaze.

G Then you said I was Em forgiven

and you welcomed me with G laughter

I was happy ever Em after

I was counting the days

when you'd come back D C again.

We'll be waiting for you

Em When you comin' D C again?

We'll be ready for you

Em Maybe we'll wake D up C when…

Maybe we'll wake up when

Em you come back D C again.

D Lies.

Amaj7 Let's be D blunt.

We're a Amaj7 little D unfaithful.

Amaj7 What do you D want?

Em Are you still G listening?

'Cause we're Em obviously G not.

We've Em forgotten our G first love.

We have C lost the Em plot.

And Em why are you still G calling?

You Em forgave, we G forgot.

We're such Em experts at G stalling

that we've C lost the Em plot

C lost the Em plot… C lost the Em plot… C lost the Em plot.

Em When you come back D C again

Would you Em bring me something from D the C fridge?

Heard a Em rumour that the end D is C near

but I Em just got D comfortable C here.
